Age seems to bring about a lot of things. Growth for one teaches me that I can forgive...but never forget/fully trust associates, friends, family, society and yes... politicians (always been my thinking). I've found that we are so judgmental of one another, but not one bit of perfect ourselves (human syntax error). We are all perfectly flawed in one shape or form, therefore we cannot be judge, jury or executioner to someone else. I remember the saying, "point a finger...three more points back at us". We all will feel a certain way as we should, but at the end of the day...we aren't God, nor do we hold the Book of Judgement and all are inclined to make mistakes (maybe once...but not habitual). Almost a month ago, I wrote a blog about Roseanne Barr...sighting that she deserved what she got an only apologised because her show was cancelled and it affected her income. Let me be clear about something...her comments were disparaging and racially charged, but who are we to judge someone else's faults, wrongdoings, or shortcomings. It is practically up to her to change her ways, life and thinking. I will go on record and say..."I forgive you, Roseanne." I don't know you personally, but I am African American man who has seen, heard and dealt with racism...and the comments made were very offensive. However, this is considered a teaching moment and I hope she embraces it and wish her well in bouncing back. For starters, she should donate to BLM or spend time in the black community...not for media/TMZ or to show face, but to get to know us better than she does. We can all learn from our mistakes, but forgiveness is the ultimate key to betterment of ourselves and others. #osmosisthoughtz
